My friend had one and i ran off with it, recording sounds and making weird new music, then ordered my own and now i spend even more time recording hitting pans, rustling plastic bags, whistling and distorting them into beautiful new sounds. so simple and great!

We had hours of fun recording backward phrases and playing them in reverse, trying to make them sound normal. Would be nice if there was a volume booster, though as it is severely underpowered sounding.

My family was a bit skeptical, but this little thing is addictive. Now we leave silly messages for each other on it and often share them during breakfast while we are getting ready for the day. You never know what you are going to hear. It's impossible not to laugh with the voice changes - slowing and speeding it up. And the ephemeral nature of the messages is also special, kind of makes you appreciate the moment together.
